I saw this brilliant clip about Laguna Seca's corkscrew corner and it made me think.

What corner or track would you like to drive your :RS: round

The corkscrew at Laguna Seca

I found the above YouTube clip in this great article with a few other clips, helmet cam etc
http://www.petrolicious.com/get-your-fill-of-laguna-seca-with-these-clips

I will start with my wish list:

Corkscrew @ Laguna Seca
Eau Rouge - Spa (I did drive at old MK 3 Cortina round Spa Francorchamps in 1987 when it was a public road)
Paddock hill - brands hatch
Craner curves - Donington (I was once a passenger of Derek Warwick with my son Stuart in a road spec Alfa Romeo 155 Silverstone for a few laps of Donny, another story though)
Mulsanne straight - Le Mans (well the original does have a slight curve in it)
Mount Panorama (Bathurst)
Ascari circuit completely - http://www.ascari.net
- take your own car round Ascari for 1200euros + tax see http://www.ascari.net/car-ascari/
- and if I am ever lucky enough to come into enough money then an Ascari membership is high on my shopping list http://www.ascari.net/ascariclub/ full membership PDF https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzvSkzBMXnT2MmR3LW1mYzg2eFk/view?usp=sharing

I have driven round Nürburgring Nordschliefe otherwise that would be on there too.
- Actually it should be as I haven't yet taken Stuart round in the :pB.rs:
I have been round brands hatch in a fiesta & formula first single seater, but not in my own :pB.RS:

I wouldn't take my RS on any track personally but i wouldn't mind in a hire car!
Same here.

I have attended the first two days training at the Lotus Driving Academy at Hethel, far easier to deal with driving somebody else's car, even if there was a £3K excess should the worst happen. Only real issue I saw on both days was a guy who ran wide in the traction circle, dropped a wheel off the edge / down a drain and ended up bending a rod on the rear suspension. Hethel is fun, nice mix of twists and turns plus the blast down to the hair pin and back from the old test track.
