Was always planning to get the mk3 RS but I'm very undecided on it at the moment, so if the finances make sense a GTR is what I'll be going for. If I got the mk3 I know I'll spend a shed load on mods and I'm trying to getaway from doing that.....but the running costs will be a lot higher if I go for a GTR....decisions, decisons

Hope it's a good one that you view

I got a shot if a mates car for a few days and i ****** his 'box ( this is not a viz comment!) - luckily Nissan came through and fitted a new one or it was £20k!!!!

but it was just pure ****** FAST - and i loved it

that said, i took him to crail and wooped him with the bike (even though it was this time of year, f. cold, me running slicks with no grip and spinning up in 3rd - still, the GTR just couldnt get near)

To be honest there are alot of ways of keeping the cost of ownership down, not using nissan for work brings the cost down alot with regards to maintenance. Obviously tyres and brakes are reasonably expensive whoever you use. I will use the likes of lichfield for the work or one of the other specialists. I am looking into warranties for one but just need to find a good car. The gtr is just a proper bucket list car for me, it wont be a longterm keeper but i want to own one even if its only for 12months i don't think i will lose too much on it. After that who knows maybe a mk3.

Well sadly this gtr wasnt for me. Grand total of 2 invoices for a 5 year old car granted the service book was stamped but i thought there would be a stack of invoices. Gave me a feel for them though and i love it. Pretty sure this was standard power yet it was advertised as lichfield stage 4 (620hp) it was quick but not 620 quick. The car looks so big on the outside but i was amazed how snug it was inside, everythimg seems to mold around you. I just need to find the right car now

Visited some relatives yesterday and they have a GTR. They took me out for a spin (which was great) and then let me drive it home (which was even greater)

Needless to say I now really have to own one, one day. It was amazing and I loved it!

Gotta work harder, save harder and then play harder :yep:
