Sync 3 and Sync 2

Sync 2 was fitted to early cars up until Nov 16 (I believe). Sync 3 has a much snappier GUI and better touchscreen and offers Apple CarPlay support. Definitely the one to go for if looking to buy used as a much better experience.

Just realised I didnt actually answer your question. Sync 2 has different and customisable background image and a compass on the home screen and I think also the climate temps displayed but is laggy AF in use compared to Sync 3.
