Hi everyone,

It's been just over 4 months now since buying my Focus RS. It's been an insanely, unforgettable time so far and there's not sign of it stopping any time soon, if at all!

The RS is a car I've been wanting ever since learning to drive at 17 years old after seeing a green one purr past me on one of my first ever lessons behind the wheel of a vehicle ever. It was that moment I went home and found out what car it was exactly and what shocked me more was the price :surprise:  ... The determination to carry on working for years was strong as the RS was all I could picture myself owning as time went by.

It's been nearly 5 years now, being 21 years old, 22 at the end of the year, and back in April is when I finally got handed the keys to what would be my dream car. The only thing I've ever wanted for years and I finally own one, and not a standard one either, a glorious Mountune MR375!

Sorry if I've bored some of you reading this, but those who read this heart-filled soppiness of joy 'just about a car' to this point, then I can only imagine that once you felt the same way and I must say thank you. This forum is a fantastic place and it certainly 'completes' owning a Focus RS. It would't quite be the same without being on here reading all about something we all have in common.

That's all - time to write up a long-delayed project thread! :yep: :rs:

Good on you fella. I fell in love with the 911 Turbo after seeing one in black in about 1984. Promised myself I'd own one one day. Owned many fords including various RS's over the years But finally bought my boyhood dream car when I was 42! Not a new one but the exact 80's one I fell in love with all those years ago.

So to own your dream car at such a young age is credit to you.
Had the 911T for 4 years and loved it but the RS is a different league!!!!

Zack what can I say , I love this post, and wow it's so nice to see someone with so much determination and the drive to want something and then make it happen, how could I be bored reading this post , it's not just about rs ownership it's about sharing the passion with everyone on here, in good times and some bad, this is the place we can come to let off steam, show off our cars when they have been cleaned , post pictures , because we all know what it feels like , every time i park the rs anywhere I always look back, and think wow; you've done well to reach your goal at such a young age and you should be proud of yourself,! Enjoy the ride, and all that goes with it,
Lis x

Good colour choice, good Mountune spec, good car. Glad you like it.
I don't just like it, I love it!

Well done at a young age save that sort of wonga I was off my :censored: weekly and spanked my money on chasing tail and booze haha.
Haha, fortunately for me I don't drink and, well, while still a bit pricey, I have a misses!

Thank you all for the comments. I've worked well for the past years to achieve this life goal at my age of 21 and I certainly am glad that I have. :)
