I've just had my 3rd service and I'm advised that my OEM rear pads are 80% worn, so it's time for me to find some replacements...
I've been searching and I have read lots of different options and opinions on different types of pads.
I've currently got MT Alcons on the front with RS29 race pads, currently I still have the std OEM pads on the rear with std discs and I'm running dot 5.1 fluid and stainless lines.
I do a few track days each year and also the Nurburgring, so my question is what do people think is the best option for me?
I'm tempted just to stick with original pads as they have lasted well over the last 3 years and approx 20k miles without issues, however I'm also tempted to try something different, I would prefer them to be road legal pads as I don't want issues come MOT time etc...
They appear a good price and I have read several positive reviews on here about them, so I'm tempted to give them try?
Appreciate any input or suggestions you can give, also happy to hear from some of our sponsors if they can supply me with options for a decent price :nice:

Thanks for the responses guys  for the price Andy can do std rear pads i might just stick with these :nice: I've not had any issues with the original set on my car till now...
With regards to the EBC pads whats the main difference between the blue stuff and yellow stuff? when i checked on the EBC site, they recommend red stuff for the rears and yellow stuff for the fronts??

 Bluestuff are a bit harder but are marked for track use only which puts some people off. EBC always tell us to use the same pads front and rear by the way. In our opinion the Bluestuff are the best all round pad for hard road and track use though.
I agree that they work Great when they are warm/hot but when cold not great... but i did find they kick up alot of brake dust so annoying when cleaning... IMO though  :yep:

which appears to differ from what i have read elsewhere and what you are saying about EBC pads...
i really wonder about the blue stuff pads and if being stamped "not for road use" will / might cause me issues further down the line... are the yellow stuff pads also marked "not for road use" as well? as always thanks for the input!

ok not so bad then mate the fronts are fairly bad i agree with the rs29 pads, just need to find the time to deep clean and seal the wheels as this should make my life easier when it comes cleaning
I've melted the dust into my powder coat and I haven't got the RS29 pad fitted yet haha, that is on the front. I went for the fast road pad but that is changing soon
I'm running the mountune rear setup so the DS2500 with grooved discs on te std caliper and no issues with it and dust is pretty low no idea how much the pads are though.
