Please help, my reverse camera has randomly started flickering on and off when I'm reverse gear. Green lines come up on the screen and it goes fuzzy and the camera flickers off, back on, back off.... I'm not sure how to put this thread into a topic so please feel free to move if it needs to be. Does anyone have any ideas, I have seen a few videos on YouTube of people with the same problem but no answers as to what it is and how to go about sorting/repairing. Thanks

Could be the camera on the way out or worse case the head unit but it may be the cable that runs through the tailgate. Try opening & closing the boot & see if it makes a difference, it has been known to solve the issue but may need further investigation. :yep:
It is quite temperamental, I first noticed it yesterday. Turned the car off and back on and it worked just fine. Today, started the RS up and it was happening again. After and a 10 minute drive and arriving to where I was going it worked fine again...
Mine has done it a few times and its been the connector inside the hatch. Just need to take the cover off and clean the connector pins as they tend to corrode. The problem for me also seemed to be worse when the weather was wet and humid.

I guess this is a good reason why people go council spec as there’s less to go wrong? Hope you get it sorted though.
