It's taken 11 years but at last the RS will get a new home. Having moved recently work has started by pulling down a single garage built in 1932. Watch this space :yep:

I do like a garage build thread..... :nice:
That would be a few sleepless nights for me!I so wish my car had a proper home rather than a council estate car park

It's not that bad. I genuinely think my car is safe enough but a garage is the one thing that would make me move when the kids grow up

too! It's nice that I live in a area of outstanding natural beauty but that means planning permission is required so will be a few weeks before any real progress! Just had my architect round to help with drawings and planning will be submitted next week.

When I built my garage the asbestos off the old one went under the base for the new one .Yeah, over £300 to get rid of the

New garage proposal looks mint, bet you cannot wait.
Might have to bite the bullet with mine soon as they are precast panels bolted together, complete with corrugated tin roof...not good.
