Perfect my kids fall asleep no drone

 

Uk on mine, no drone that I notice.

 

Whats the increase in exhaust volume like?

 

i was told by someone at the mountune meet on sat.. he has the mr375..with the UK exhaust that he does get a drone on the motorway at about 70mph

 

must have super sensitive hearing becasue there isnt any drone what so ever..... i'll bet my car on it

UK, not noticed any drone on mine and I'm de-cat. The Euro is only 1 Db lounder than standard for the TUV aproval

I had the same debate with myself ended up going UK spec and haven't regretted it for one minute, my car is a daily driver and its fine! Granted you do get a bit of drone if you labour the car in high gears on the motorway (lazy driving and not changing down etc

) but apart from that it's great. Personally I wouldn't swap it now! It's loud enough without being offensive in my opinion! I say go UK spec

 

That's pretty much it, the only thing I'd add is the slight cabin boom when it's on the cat warm up cycle from a cold start, but that only lasts as long as it takes to get out of the garage.

Still tempted to non res it

 

£135 for the pleasure General, I'm thinking of putting on sport cat and non res section

 

I tried UK spec but as a daily driver with MR375 I found it a bit loud, well the wife did, so changed to Euro spec which is a lot quieter.

You will get a bit of boom on start up until the revs settle and if you tool around at 60 in 6th it will let you know but thats it

On the up side it will pop on demand once you learn the trick with the throttle and sounds purposeful at idle and premium aggressive at full chat but a bit of a pussycat when you are commuting "off boost"...assuming you ever do that

I went for Euro as well

 

Looks like 7-6 at the moment to UK.

 

I just couldn't risk drone and wanted performance not noise so I'm just happy they could sort me out really...

 

Anyone got a "spare" I could try (buy) ?

- reading the thread with interest - I think UK at the moment.
Are these likely to feature in the 12 days offer .......a bit more useful than a keyring....

My s1 is silly loud ,it's tiresome ,then add in the heat it's a killer

 

I know this is a topic between the Mountune Euro and UK Catback's but to put another spin on thing's I've got the Mongoose Catback fitted to my MR375 and I don't find it that loud, I guess it's subjective either that or I'm deaf from the noise it makes
