Hi
am running cp420 and want to no if i fit one of these recirc -valve instead of standard would i gain anything.
Ive asked gary at collins he said leave it,it cause problems with it.
i wanted to no he anybody with cp maps has changed it and its been ok..

any thoughts

Mountune recirc won't cause any problems. Bolt it to your car. The Mountune recirc will hold boost harder and stronger

Talking to Martin You get a better response from the oem one as it's a lot lighter than the piston type. That is if you can put up with the mouse like noise, their maps are done using the oem valve.

This sums it up cp maps are designed for the standard valve
Nowt wrong with a mountune valve but I wouldn't fit it (that's just me)

My oem recirc valve was like jelly on boost. Mr420 took it off for me and fitted a Mountune version. To say it firmed up the full throttle boost would be an understatement and the part throttle boost has an intensity which is hard to describe. I love it and prob best mod I've done (after the hard race lower wishbones and Michelin PSS). I'm running the mighty oem map btw
