Advisory on my MOT - offside rear service brake binding but not excessively. Which would explain the squeaky wheel I've been getting at low speeds. What would normally be the cause of this?
As above I wouldn't use copper grease as it normally contains petroleum grease which swells up rubber parts causing them to stick.@Webby
What spec of grease should be used ? I've used the copper grease as it appears to have good "stay put" and anti-seize qualities !
Its fine for hubs etc as no movement required, copper grease in that situation forms a layer preventing two iron parts rusting together:facepalm: I always thought copper grease was for brakes  i always use it on face of hubs to stop wheels sticking to the hubs as well ,didn't realise there was a specific grease .Learn something new everyday
