I don't know if you've seen this, but there's a new magazine out called Modern Classics.

The Mk1 FRS is featured.....and comes out as the best buy, as an investment for the future.

I can see why I wish I could have kept mine as well, superbly balanced car to drive with pretty looks as well.
That's why I'm keeping mine. They still look good on the outside, even though the interior is pretty dated. But at least now we can call it retro styling... ;)

I know, I suppose it's all down to the people they contact to help with the article.

70000 miles, going for £3500.

I wish you had LHD, with what RS's are going for in the UK, I could ship it over and still end up with more money than I'm getting here. It's just not the same market, and they don't command the same prices.

Wow, is that all?

We've got a LHD Escort Cosworth rally car. All the best cars are left hookers.

With that mileage depending on the spec of your car you could be looking at 8-9k without the stickers imo
Yeah, in the UK, possibly, like I said I wish I could reasonably export the car. The guy who's looking at the car tomorrow knows his stuff, he's been around these cars for years (and is even on this forum), and he says that's all it's worth.

EDIT: I'm really sorry for hijacking the thread. I have one of my own if anyone wants to talk about my situation, this should be about the article posted, which is a great thing :)

In six years of ownership apart from consumables nothing ever went wrong, but then I suppose it had all the basics you need for a good drive and hardly any high tech items which could have caused problems. Only niggle was the midrange hiccup.
