I am sure I am not the only one who watched the football last night but for me it was one of the best games of football I have watched for a good while...massive congratulations to the team and to all those involved .

I stopped being a football fan when players started to be paid more in a day than I earned in a year! Totally obscene and unjustified.
Watching the girls however, was a fresh experience. Gone was the Prima Donna, preening and bad acting of the men's game. It seemed more honest and attacking unlike the men where the majority of passes seem to be backwards?
Having said that, I fear that now the women's game has become recognised and popular (and players getting serious pay packets?) it will degenerate to the men's level.
