Hi guys im needing some help with my k4 karcher it stopped spraying water the motor runs but the water doesn’t seem to be getting pumped through. I’ve done all the obvious checks like clogged filter and kinked hose etc.. just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if it’s an easy fix. I don’t really want to buy another jet wash if I can help it.

Does it spray without the lance attached?
I have several different pressure washers. Other than the hot/cold models all the others will allow the inlet water to spray out the nozzle without turning the motor on. If that doesn't work then the fault is a blockage somewhere or a faulty lance valve.
@Ultimate Green RS no it doesn’t maté nothing comes out even with lance detached
@Baz&beanz its Now proper dead I opened it up to take a look and lost the plot with a hammer

The shaft between the motor and the pump head has probably sheared so the motor will run but not turn the impeller on the pump.
The K4 does not have to be turned on to allow water to pass through it, therefore if the shaft is broken water from the inlet will arrive at the lance just not above the inlet water pressure.

That's the sort of thing I do so I gave up doing something on the RS today as it was peeing me off .
