Hi all, as above is the stock turbo water cooled, I have a horrendous smell of antifreeze but no leaks or signs of leaks anywhere. Been cheeked by myself and auto specialist, I'm confident it's my 4th radiator leaking but they say not. There are no leaks anywhere, foam at bottom of rad is bone dry, but the car stinks and looses a small amount every couple of weeks.

I believe the turbo is water and oil cooled

A pressure test should find the leak. Failing that if there is no visible leaks then I sure hope you ain't burning the water

No mate it's not washer bottle, I'm a mechanic and know what antifreeze smells like. No offence ment in that, plus I lose a small amount every couple of weeks

Could it be from a previous spillage? A pal lost the neck of his radiator and spayed coolant everywhere. It was fixed but continued to smell for many months afterwards.

It's possible it could be from the 3 rads that have failed but it's all been cleaned off after each failure. Smell comes and goes, somedays fine others it stinks. I personally think it is the radiator leaking again but auto specialists think not

Judging by the stories on here i wouldn't be surprised if it was the as rad gone again!

You able to get underneath and take the undertrays off... See if there are any pools / obvious wet spots
