Would probably still work though and be brighter than a pair of Xenons with burnt projectors. I've definitely seen a couple of Focus's (one an UG RS and the other a mk2 orange ST) that should have Xenon headlights but are both using standard headlights.

Thanks @Gareth350, i didn't realise that but what about the mk2 RS that i saw at a show last year? With a lot of us having problems with burnt projectors could it be that the owner of the RS just decided to ditch the xenons and fit standard halogens? Would it be as straight forward as removing the xenon headlight assembly and replacing with a halogen unit?
