By virtue of my own stupidity (don't ask) I've managed to damage the front lower grill.

J-W racing are selling new ones for £492 :( http://j-w-racing.co.uk/product.php/6567/2045/genuine_ford_front_lower_grille_focus_rs_mk2

Will my local garage be able to remove the old one and fit the new one? I've seen posts on here explaining how to remove the bumper and grill but I have no garage, workspace or tools to attempt the job myself.

This post seems to indicate that the bumper has to come off

I've found this link which explains how to remove the bumper, but without garage, tools etc I think I'd struggle.

I don't want to buy one of these only to find I can't get it fitted. Alternative is I go to Ford...

I followed your second link to remove my bumper to revamp the intercooler and change the rusty bolts in the bottom. Some have said you can remove the grill without removing the bumper....having removed the bumper myself I can't see how unless.the clips holding it to the bumper have been broken in the past. As they are a pig to remove even with good access.
So if you say your not good with spanners, it's probably best to leave to an expert.

Is it scratched or something like that? You're a fair distance from me so including the cost of shipping and getting someone to spray it for me it would have to be really cheap to make it worth while.

i actually was thinking of getting mine resprayed because of stone chips but a brand new one came up on ebay for a silly price so iv'e just recently had that fitted. im sure most body shops could leave mine as new for about 100 quid at the very most and i'd be looking about 90 quid delivered?
