I wouldn't have imagined it was possible, but sadly it is. I somehow managed to wash off some colour from the front panel of my bumper. I guess I went too close with the nozzle, but as it was covered with dead bugs, I really had no choice. Anyway, does anyone know what this colour is and whether there is an easier way to repair the damage than replacing the panel (almost £500)? I asked my local Ford dealer and they said that this colour is not listed under the colours used with RS.

No, I don't think so. I also thought it would be dark grey graphite, but apparently it has been coloured. It definitely looks OEM. If you look at this one (Genuine Ford Focus Mk3 RS Plate Trim Satin Black - 2013340 2016 - 2018 for sale online | eBay), you'll see the other side is white.

ive removed number plates before that have been stuck on like mad and never pulled any paint off,someone will be along shortly who will know if they are painted or not
