Just created my own thread instead of running off on another one previously at Engine malfunction

It is starting to become a pain in the ass. One common pattern now is that it seems to come off with the malfunction after 20 minutes of driving. I found this weird, but then now looking at Forscan I realise the engine has an on timer (running time) within it on the ECU.
There has been once or twice I get the bong sound like low fuel or below 5 deg temp sound. But then the MIL light does not come on, but it would eventually within a few minutes after.

Strange thing is, once it has its hissy fit after running for 20 minutes, when turned back on to drive again, it would run ok. Unless starting again from a cold engine.

I am scratching my head to think it is temperature related, either the engine ECU (when engine bay hits a certain temp), or the dashboard instrument cluster (when the interior gets to a certain warmth)

My Forscan codes are below; first time using it, got delivered during the week. I have to say it is amazing, compared to those ****ty fault code readers that came up with no fault when clearly there is.

I have, even bench charging it, but it appears that the problem came back, it was only stopped because I disconnected the battery, so possibly a hard reset of ECU and other elecetronics.

I am strongly now thinking it is the dashboard instrument cluster. When I got the fault light today and power loss, I resorted to hitting the top of the dashboard and everything came back, although either with limp mode once, other time with full power.
I have also been checking out the Focus STOC and it appears that a lot of mk2 ST's mainly the facelift ones has this same problem.

I even checked out this company Focus Focus Dashboard Instrument Cluster fault and on their website lists many of the faults and codes relating to this same problem.

So today's test results after clearing it yesterday. Drove to work and back home, then went out to take the lil one doctor later on, then back home.

The cluster fault causes corruption of CANBUS data so that would be consistent with what you are seeing.

I'd check the connector plug into the cluster, if loose could cause the issues. Pull out the cluster & wiggle the connector, if a good connection then won't throw up any issues.

Clusters often have bad solder joints that simply require re-soldering where the main plugs connect.

I repaired the cluster by soldering. The pins were dry jointed on a few of them. The car so far has not come back with any faults cutting out, driven for 3 days now and around 100 miles.

The problem is the pins on the other side of this connector
