I asked my friend that works for Ford UK on the RS to answer a few questions if she could. She was great and found out some answers for me:

Questions I asked:

1. No option for the Cup2 tyres as mentioned previously? (USA and Germany at least appear to have that option)
2. No option for heated steering wheel? (USA and Germany at least appear to have that option - as does the UK Focus ST3 : My OCD noticed the button for it by the gearstick on pre-production models - and I hate blanked off buttons!)
3. Black multispokes not available? Have been all over the test mules and show cars and those in dealerships.
I appreciate that things change though!!

One further confusion.. The ebrochure on Ford UK website shows the option of "SYNC2 Navigation with rear view camera" as does the 2016MY Focus RS Price List 16th Sep 2015 Customer(1).pdf.
Yet the online configurator doesn't mention it and neither does the "FoB Order Guide C346 MCA 2016MY (with RS).pdf"

Ok I've spoken with our product specialist around your questions

So firstly, no there are no track tyres available on models - however there is still discussion over offering these retrospectively as an aftermarket option

Heated steering wheel isn't available on the UK model

Black multispokes are not available however the 19" forged back alloys are available (and apparently they looked a lot better)

Lastly, if you purchase the premium Sat Nav option it comes with rear view camera - if you don't go with the premium audio there is no rear view camera

We have briefed in the changes however to the configurator!

Good work Dal :nice:

My dealer emailed me today to say that the spec sheets they were given are the ones to currently go off and to ignore things that don't match up on the configurator at the minute

nice work, bizarre though with no heated wheel option when you can spec it on the st  unless there isnt actually room for the button with having the extra ones on the console bit?

doesnt matter to me though as mine will never see the cold anyway :nice:

I have also fed a number of peoples comments relating to the Configurator to the IT team that support it who have also engaged the Marketing team who update the content.

I expect to see some clarification of the information contained, at least for the UK config.

Oh and I pointed out RS wasn't yet on the Irish one.

No, the heated steering wheel switch was at the very bottom of the cluster that had the mode switch which is in the middle

Nice to see a button for stop/start, can turn it off then.

If we don't get heated steering wheel what will be in place of where the button would be?

I'm hoping with getting a fully loaded car (minus the edge protectors) that's there won't be any annoying blanked out buttons that don't do anything
