That was a right trip down memory lane. I'd forgotten some of those cars even existed.

Is it bad to say I remember all of them.

Did ford sell that many probes, iirc it wasn't a very good car

There is a mint, and I mean mint Austin Allegro round these parts. Driven by an older gentleman, and it looks as if it has just been driven out of the showroom.

Yey don't knock the "Allegro" I bet there is an owners club out there somewhere. I used to have an Allegro job car for a short time an SS estate in black looked like a hearse, I must admit it was pretty bad. And now for the Allegro turbo went like a rocket but didn't stop or go round corners.

49746 escorts on the road and only 3800 Sierras or 3556 Cortinas

although if one allows for the much later models then maybe correct.

I think there is something wrong with some of those numbers

I rarely see an escort on the road but do see Sierras or Cortinas

wow this site has some interesting stats though

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?page=9&q=escort

page 9 for Escort RS models

and for Focus RS https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=focus+rs

click on the model & you can get to more info & graphs

e.g. Taxed v SORNed https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/ford_focus_rs#!tax
