Morning all

I’m after some advice on what might be my boost problem, I’ve got a rough idea but thought I’d ask.
I was out in the car the other evening and went to pull away with some spirit and heard a bang as if a pipe had come off and the car began to drive slowly, it still was able to drive at 70mph on the carriage way just no boost so I managed to get the car home.
I took a look at it yesterday and saw the jubilee clamp on my hard pipe from the bottom silicone hose to the hard pipe going up to the inlet had snapped yet it looks like the pipe is still in place, could it still be leaking? I’m going to have a look again today as the weather was horrible yesterday, thanks in advance.

If it isn't clamped it will certainly be leaking.

As said, it will be leaking. Use a good quality clamp too, no cheap rubbish.

My boost hose popped off from the throttle body years ago, so yeah that was new clamp time, boost returned once all tight!

Little update, so was able to have look at the car today and managed to get a decent jubilee clamp fitted. I also found the nut on the end of the inlet manifold where the quick release pipe connects was loose so pretty sure this would be causing problems as well.
Once I got everything tightened up I took it for a spin and is boosting lovely, forget sometimes how quick these are as I hadn’t drove it for a while.
