There's probably been a thread about this but I'm new haha so oh well...

I understand why ford haven't put them on the mk3 and also why there's not even an option, however, my question is how hard and how expensive do people think it would be to fit them to a mk3 when we finally get them lol 😂?

I met a guy who did them, think i still have his number somewhere. He charged about £300, but painting of vents was down to you.

I'm sure there will also be some tuners who will offer body kits.

I'm sure I saw a guy on the ST Facebook group cut a paint tray (as in roller & tray) and glued it in place under his bonnet vent :)
:surprise: It doesn't happen often, but i'm speechless!!

Snow shield is a little bit of plastic in front of air intake that won't help if you fit vents mate

Personally, If I were to ever be getting a Mk3, I'd simply do what the new Mustang is being sold as. In the US, the new Mustang has bonnet vents but over here in the UK they don't/won't.

I'd put the new US Mustang vents on the Mk3 RS personally. Will suit the car nicely.

Lol seems people get very serious about putting vents on a new mk3!! 😂
And as for it being criminal to modify a new car, I don't understand that lol I'm sure we all know people who buy a new car, whatever that might be and modify straight away lol?!

Just to clarify anyways I was asking a question lol not stating I was going to do it as I'm sure others will be interested in things such as this?? 😂

You can obviously do what you want as the car is yours I just had a vision of someone using a hacksaw to make the holes in the bonnet, not too sure how Ford would view it warranty wise.

If you look up close to a lot of the RS vents that have been fitted to ST's you'll notice the Tiger seal squeezing out round the edges plus underneath they look very untidy. The going rate seems to be about 70 quid fitted.

Also I've seen lots of photo's on facebook of cars with cinder blocks sat on top of the vents while the Tiger seal dries.

This is not something I'd ever contemplate on any car I owned :nope:

Vents look :censored: on anything other than a Mk.2 RS IMO, people sticking them on Clio's and Corsas which is just dire.
Didn't like them on the seres2 escort RS?
I loved them back in the day and still love them now.
I see them on a tangerine ST and they looked good. Could picture them on a nitrous blue....
Black vents black splitter and flyeye headlights....
Each for their own..
B&q doing good deal on hacksaw blades.....
