The AA are probably the most experienced people you're gonna get in the UK for dealing with batteries. Just think how many calls they get a day to deal with a dead battery.

Add to that the focus is one of the best selling cars in the UK... Yeah, it'll be fine.
I do hope your joking!

My old man bought a brand new B-Max last year, after 3 months, opened car, got in to start, nothing, no dash lights or anything, he phoned the dealer, they arranged the AA to come to him. Had a look over under the bonnet, couldn't find anything & said, it'll need a new battery even though it showed fully charged. At this point, all the lights started working & it started, he drove to the dealer who couldn't look at it at the time so he booked it in for the following day.

He phoned me about it, went round to have a look, the nut on the negative terminal was missing & the lead was literally just touching the terminal. New nut on, dealer appointment cancelled, good as gold ever since! :nice:

Morale of this story, the AA may be ok at changing things, putting a spare on etc but i wouldn't trust them for diagnostics!

I should have been more clear, I meant they can change a battery.

Not vouching for their diagnostic skills lol.
