Anyone had alarm/immobilisation problems?

The alarm went off yesterday evening leaving the doors unlocked but otherwise nothing working. It recognised the key and locked properly twice so I left it. This morning, the only things with power are the ICE system and the door locks, though they only unlocked once individually and stayed that way, but the hatch stays locked. No hazards even, everything else is unresponsive. Good battery voltage. the AA man is mystified so it's going back to Handy Ford on a flatbed.

Realise this is an old post but did you find out what was the root cause. Have had something very similar happen this evening whilst car sat in garage. Car is completely dead except ice and door locks are making clicking sound but not locking.
