Social media marketing is definitely here to stay, like it or not.

However forums like this are also social media marketing.

It's up to the company selling their products to adequately market in the relevant social media locations, or lose out on sales.

Some People on here have made it clear that don't use Facebook , book of faces or whatever else one wishes to call it.

However to expect customers to only look at one form of marketing media is a risk for a company trying to sell product,
If that company deem that risk minimal then fine they are accepting a loss of sales in media x weighed against the cost of maintaining that media itself.

Simple business decision.

Simple choices of forum users to tweet, f'book, Instagram or whatever else is out there.
I don't see any of the replies to date as insulting our sponsor, just a statement of people's personal choice to participate or not in certain social media, it's called consumer feedback.

I don't blame Facebook, it's merely a tool... it's just some of the tools on it that are the problem!

Anyway, page LIKED!

People always love tripping over themselves to post up their hatred of the likes of Facebook.

Seen it many times before. Don't really understand it.

No denying that, but a simple and polite reply would be better. Doesn't really look good for people looking to invest here/new members.
I think Facebook is wonderful and we should all be on it, there you go positive, don't want to upset anyone on this forum do we. Its like anything on the internet though, don't publish anything expecting it to be secure.
