Hi all members

I am looking for some advice please . I have a focus Rs mk2 that has covered under 5000 miles from new .It has been serviced every year by an Indy garage , but only needed oil /filter/brake fluid changing due to its mileage .My question is now its 10 years old what else should ideally be changed for piece of mind etc, due to its age rather than mileage  I am thinking maybe water pump /cam belt etc .

Any advice greatly appreciated

Thankyou

Al

I'd change it, and water pump and both aux belts

Has age on it, and peace of mind too

If it's 10 years old then it's due the 10 year service.

Couldn't be simpler because service intervals are mileage and time based.

Service plus timing  belt and water pump ,aux belts , i had mine done with less than 8,000 miles just to keep the history / service record correct .

There's no mention of spark plugs being changed at any point, so would suggest these get done as the service intervals are 37500 miles or every 3 years.

Chris, absolutely the right thing to do my friend! Change those plugs and make sure they're correctly gapped.
Missing all my good RS friends and hoping that the day will come when we can safely meet again.....
