'nice' & 'up to £20k' cars will be a tough find but nice higher mileage cars do appear occasionally. :yep:

Cheers guys,
I have spoken to the guy regards the one in the classified and if there had been a bit of wriggle room to cover done of the cost of getting it home and redoing the alloys I'd have been driving to get it tomorrow.

I think you still should....£20k for a car on those miles and second owner (since 2010). You could regret haggling over a £250 wheel refurb and tank of fuel (I’ve had people ask me to cover their costs to buy my car, a good motor is worth the travel).

There’s a lot of frogs to kiss to find a good Mk2 RS these days.

It doesn't sound a lot but 3-400 for a proper wheel refurb and 500 to get it home is best part of a grand extra unfortunately.
Going to see a white 62k one tomorrow and z Nitrous mk3 aswell

@bigmike I can't see why he should pay your expenses for you it's not his fault that you live so far from him  20K for that car seems reasonable to me even if the wheels need a refurb

I thought you'd get your wheels done for 50 to £60 a corner

£500 to get it home, where is that from / to ?

If its not a mega low miles car, why wouldn't you get a train and drive it back. To miss out on possibility of a good car for sake of wheel refurb and travel costs.

Hummm, your figures don’t stack up and sound more like you’re over haggling.

still it’s your choice, good luck looking at other motors, I’m sure there’s on out there for you.

BTW A mk3 for £20k?

There must be someone on here that could give the car an eyeball for you?

I fancied a Subaru, so flew to Gatwick from Edinburgh, train to Andover and a bus to the guys house, decided it was the car for me and drove it back to Perth on a mad hot bank holiday Friday (nightmare)

The 11 hr drive home was awesome once I got through the traffic jams

*I was prepared to book a flight home if it was a crock of $hit *

The car is beside Trafford I think he said,
I work for a company based in Cannock and he said it was a few junctions closer to Scotland lol.
If anyone can look at it that would be awesome.
P.S, flights are circa 500 to Birmingham.....
