One things for sure, This aint no Mustang. Are they about to kill another great Ford product along with the Puma?

Normal Mustangs will still be available until such times all cars have to be electric or new ICE banned, why would this kill it?

Because it looks nothing like a Mustang. A mustang is a muscle car, not an overgrown Focus on stilts.

That still doesn't explain why it would kill off the Mustang coupe which will still be available, unless of course you mean the GT model accelerating 0-60 in around 3.5 seconds, people would rather buy that than the coupe.

It isn't a Mustang. Just look at it.

Should call that thing an Esomething, nothing to do with a Mustang.

You don't have to buy one, you can still buy a conventional one. How hard is that to understand?

Other than Tesla screens being mounted in landscape as opposed to portrait. They are mounted on the dash in the same way.

People seem upset at the name but in reality the car is marketed at those who would never buy a regular Mustang - I've seen it in the workplace here, people who had zero interest in cars all excited about Tesla's and the performance on offer, bit like the Apple iphone brigade unable to see beyond anything that manufacturer does.

This is going after that piece of pie and I guess someone in Ford doesn't want to lose the branding opportunity that its famous back catalogue offers.

Taycan Turbo or Turbo S will cause as much outrage due to not having a turbo lol

Why didn't they call this the Puma or the Fusion to save the Mustang's name...

Yep, when it comes to the Mustang they should sack the sparkys and bring back the mechanics.
Great Vid of a great car.

That's not the point. The point is they've taken the name Mustang and assigned it to this ...

Anyway enough with this back and forth
