How can you delete your old expired adverts or do they have to be deleted by Admin?

Thanks

I must be missing something.

Within the "expired" section I can see my all adds that I have put up over the past but nothing to delete them at all?

Hey there,

What ads do you want to delete?

We'll have a look into it.

all expired ones :)

I have quite a few. I think from what I know of the system is the only way to delete them, is to renew the ad and then delete it as Bry explained. Going to try it myself now...

Yep...that's the only way that I can see.

@VSAdmin just delete them all if you can -

Why is there now option to delete permanently ???

I too would like to delete one expired advert but all you get is the option to renew...

The other one is a nice memory of my old car so not bothered about deleting that one... :yep:
:nice:

Guys,

I'm really sorry but this has been left hanging for a while now.

Has it been looked into at all?

Otherwise, the only method I can see is to renew then delete the ad as if you had newly posted it.

Hope that helps members at this stage.

Not for me it doesn't. If I renew an expired advert, I can then delete it and it's gone...

What's weird is I have to renew an advert then go back in to modify it if I want to relist it as it only lets you change the price when you come to renew something when really I'd like to read through the listing again and make any changes to the wording etc but the choice is not there, only to change the price...
Maybe that could be ammended in the future?

A Happy New Year all!! :nice:

Oh that's annoying. Wish I didn't say anything now as an advert I wanted to renew has now gone completely from the expired list...

No you can't do it yourself, it's a 'system setting' which I have now set to delete expired ads after 30 days (it was set at 3 years).

Sorry I didn't see this in April 2018, I don't know where I was on that day
