Hello all
a long shot but a friend of mine is looking for a Focus RS Mk1 model does anybody know were any produced like the MK2 or where to get one? looked on ebay etc and cant see anything decent.
Thanks
I have a 1/43 rd scale model of the Mk1 Focus RS of my own car in display box mounted on plastic base, script on base ( Build N0 0505/ 4051 Limited 209 / 300 2002-2003 Ford Focus RS) . The model came about due to the hard work and dedication of Clayton Borg who at the time was the registrar for the car on the Ford RS Owners club . I would post a picture if I could fathom how to do it. To qualify to purchase one of the models you had to own one of the cars.

They may do but Tickford didn't make the models, probably made in China.
I am talking about the models available to the general public rather than club / special editions.

Do the boxes have the RS Owners Club logo on and the model inside have the car registration number which would suggest, the model is being sold by a previous club member and owner who bought the model from Clayton as he posted all the models out from the limited 300 run.

No RS Owners Club logo, or registration number.
This is the model I bought.

I have the OHO 1/18 scale model diecast. I think it was a limited edition version as it has a plaque on the bottom 1606/2500 so not sure if you can still get them perhaps on eBay or a similar platform. Detailed interior mighty heavy but nothing opens, blue a bit dark.

There is a few Mk1's on ebay at the moment, one of them for £400.
In recent months they have done the Series 2 Escort RS, Sapphire Cosworth, and the Mk1 Fiesta XR2. It's worth registering on their site as it gives access to pre-orders and you can get the car direct for less than £70 (pre Brexit price) as opposed to the £100 plus people want on ebay after they finally go on sale.
