Hi guys i like many others here ripped off the front under tray (after not re fitting it correctly when changing the radiator) so i asked Martyn68 if he could send me the templates he has for the "extra parts"

i received them (big thanks again mate) i ordered a cheaper eBay under tray £32.90   http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT .

i also ordered a sheet of plastic / HDPE 3mm £17   http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

once it came i went about taking off the old parts to find that i still had the 2 corners intact so i reused them i marked out Martyn68 s tracing paper and cut it out with a knife i would say it was hard going i think 2mm plastic would have been better or a jigsaw lol. i put 1 rivet in to join the parts together lining them up with a guess and a little help from Martyn68 s pictures i was not happy with how it held so i used bigger rivets and washers then painted them black.

when i went to fit the under tray i took a good look at Martyn68 s pics then i took off the drip tray (bigger tray) and started to line it up after around 10 mins i realised that Martyn68 s picture of the under tray in front of his car has it upside down doh!!!! after turing it round i lined it up but i had to trim 1 edge as it was not 100%lining up i found that the front grill was only held on with a some pop in clips and 2 screws so i took it off this made life easier for lining up screws (i understand from another post that some grills are a nightmare to get off) after i got it on i stuck a couple of extra screws in at the corners and drilled a new hole for the middle front as it was damaged on the bumper part.

So it is all on just hope it stays on big thanks yet again Martyn68.

I'm going to try to add a few pics i hope i get it right lol

eBay item number for the extensions 224215001678
And then just buy a eBay normal focus undertray which are around £30. Total cost around £80 which is cheaper than buying them if you can actually still get them.

It just slots in to the front bumper if I remember correctly then bolts across the back to the arch liners and the main engine undertray... its been a long time since I did mine to be honest

Isn't there an update to this on later models that includes some brackets which attach to the front bumper - I'm sure mine has them (and a new undertray)
