Hello guys I need a set of standard pads for the rear only please. If I were to buy them from your website do I get enough if I specify "one" in the quantity box? or do I have to select quantity "two"?
Many thanks,
Andy :)

 There are a couple of options from EBC but to be honest we have not found that they perform as well as the standard Ford ones. And grooved or drilled discs will not perform as well as standard as they lose too much surface area from the discs which after all is what stops you. Dont believe all the hype about letting hot gasses escape etc as what hot gas does a metal disc being clamped between a pair of brake pads produce? On big brake kits with long pads it does make sense as it can help clean the pad surface up and add a bit of cooling to the central areas of the pads.

How about the pads themselves are the standard ford ones as good as any ? or are there better or better value pads from another manufacture.

My car is  a road car, may make it on track one day :)

 The Ford pads are actually very good especially for a road car. The only upgrades would be EBC Yellowstuff which are slightly harder or for track use EBC Bluestuff or DS2500. We would also recommend changing the fluid, if it hasnt already been done, to a DOT5.1 and then changing it at least every two years.
