You need to go into 'My Settings' and 'notifications' and tick which methods you want to be notified about.

I can see the horse too but I want to change it. Where is the avatar change option? I click on 'change photo' under profile edit but nothing happens.

Some are now working and some arn't ( notifications on watched topics ) I will go into each one then "unfollow" and then re follow them and see how I get on, Also I can not set a pic to my profile , if I try to use a custom pic from my PC it says " Failed to set a new photo " ? tried about 10 pics now and still no worky?

Avatar and Photos are one and the same thing now, uploading to Photo's updates your Avatar.

Your photo cannot be too big, if it says its failed, re-size it down first.

I know its all magical stuff, and no doubt hard work, its hard enough for me to get a picture in a word document let alone all this wizardry, but is there a time frame for the mobile version?

just wonderng if there is an update yet? i always use the forum from my phone and check it all day, i do not use my laptop enough apart from the last two days or so. its just really hardwork to veiw the forum on the phone.

I think I had to remove the old one before I could add a new one Jon , worth a try .

When you click on Change Photo you'll get the option to remove it .

Therein lies the problem, I'm using my phone to do this but when I click on change photo nothing happens. Nothing at all. No menu, no options.

I seem to have a mystery with version 4.
If I click on a post, then go back and try to view it again the complete posting has disappeared.
If I try and find it in todays postings it is no where to be found.

Hi Roger , if you select New content from the drop-down menu under the Forums Tab , then choose a different Time period from the list on the left hand side - week , 2 weeks , month etc . Once you've selected a different Time period you'll be shown all unread Posts and all current Topics within your selected time period .


It's probably currently set to show only Content you have not read .

guys can someone help as im now no longer able to enlarge any pictures ,i could when the site was updated but am unable to do so now !

I refuse to use TapaTalk and that will never be an option (before anyone suggests it).

Will keep you all posted when I know more.

An update.........................

We have managed to get a basic mobile skin working with the new software. It's not perfect, and it doesn't have access to some of the sections (for example the classifieds or chat).

However I have been using it today and it does enough IMO to warrant turning it on for you all.

Please be aware that what you will see is what you will get for the time being. There is little point spending time and money on what will shortly be a defunct way of viewing the site.

We will still be looking to the future and what the best solution will be for mobile browsing, so watch this space.

You can select the mobile skin by clicking on "Change Theme" at the bottom of the screen an selecting "IP.Board Mobile"
