With the introduction of the FocusRSoc.com Owner/Enthusiast Membership scheme, the forum permissions have reverted to their preset state.
This means that the Club Sponsor/Group Buys/Private Discussion/Classifieds forums as well as both MK1 RS and MK2 RS Technical Forums are now available only to those that have upgraded to a Membership account. Status updates on profiles are also now restricted in the same way and the Shoutbox will revert to Membership only shortly.
Those that have upgraded now have access to the Garage and Handbook Systems, so please get your cars added in the Garage. http://www.focusrsoc.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/).gif
At this time we would ask that you take the time to post any new topic in the most relevant section of the forums as those that are not will need to be moved manually by Staff.

All,
Firstly, thank you for your patience whilst we worked on the development of FocusRSOC.com, especially for putting up with the default basic skin.
You'll be pleased to see we have now launched the new look of the forums :)
Soon to follow will be a green version for those of you who prefer that option, along with the launch of the green skin, will be the opening of the membership scheme.
If you find any problems with the new look, please let us know in the "Ask the Staff" forum section.

Hi all,
Firstly apologies for the various error messages you may have encounter over the last 12 hours.
Our server hosting provider introduced some new security measures to our servers which unfortunately caused some errors elsewhere without them initially being aware.
For those interested, we have encoded files which required ioncube software to run user friendly url links across the forums, the security additions affected the ioncube process and therefore produced the errors.
All should now be resolved.

Hi all,
I'd like to once again thank you for your patience whilst I completed the upgrade of the forum software and the addition of the new features.
You're all currently looking at the skeleton of the new software... the blue colours are just a default look... this will soon be replaced with a new look, similar to what the forums used to look like, but much improved!
The benefits of the upgrade are more apparent to the running and management of the forums, we're more secure, the forums run quicker and we have a a more advanced software base in which to expand on with features such as the Garage system.
From the end user (member) point of view, you should notice lots of small improvements, not to mention the introduction of "ajax" a clever bit of code which means content displays instantly without the need for the page to refresh.
Membership
The next step is the launch of the Membership Scheme, the shop is currently up and running and we're adding products over the next few days, with the aim to open the membership early next week... a news announcement will be posted providing more information about cost and benefits. The membership costs will not be the same as STOC, and we hope to offer more membership periods to purchase than just the typical 1 yearly.
Shortly after the launch of the Membership, we will start to introduce Club Merchandise and we'll get a plan up of the 2010 events the club will be officially attending.
